Cabin Blast and Re-Stain
This log home received a complete log blast and re-stain from Scenic Pine Finishing! The home was blasted down to the bare log and then received the appropriate finishing to stay properly sealed.
After the home was blasted it was washed off with a log wash concentrate mixed with water. Once the home was clean and free of debris, a log preservative was applied. The cabin was then inspected for any areas that needed to be caulked and was caulked accordingly. After the caulking was completed, a coat of Prelude was applied followed by two coats of PermaChink Ultra-2 Exterior stain. And finally a clear gloss topcoat was applied to the logs and the porch ceiling of this home. A Log End Seal was also applied to the log ends.
And voila, you have a log home that looks brand new!
We also want to note the new railing that was crafted by the Fairview Crew!
