Construction Process

Initial Meeting

We start by meeting with you at our office/showroom to discuss your vision for the home. We will talk about layout and elevation style and will draw up a basic concept based off that discussion. Once we have a really close concept we can then put a detailed quote together for the project.


Once the quote has been approved we will begin turning the concept into building blueprints. We will continue to edit the prints until they are absolutely perfect to make sure the house is exactly the way you imagined it. After the plans are finalized, we then draft up the building contract! As we get closer to the actual construction start date, we will have a Selection Day so that you can pick out your doors, roof color, windows, stain color, etc! 

Construction Begins

After the plans and contract are finalized, and your bank gives us the green light - we can start digging (weather and schedule allowing)!

Periodically throughout the building process we will take you on walk-throughs through your home. It's a perfect time to iron out any last minute details and make sure things are looking the way it was imagined. For a complete turn-key home, we typically estimate the entire build to take around 6-7 months. That's after we have broken ground and have physically started working on the project. Once we are finished, the home is ready for you to move in!
